25 years of my life and still I'm trying to get up that
great big hill of hope for a destination
i realized quickly when I knew I should
that the world was made up of this brotherhood of man
for whatever that means
so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed
to get it all out what's in my head
then I start feeling a little peculiar
so I wake in the morning and I step
outside I take a deep breath I get real high

Then I scream from the top of my lungs
what's going on and I say hey ...

I try all the time in this institution
and I pray
